A proud native of Detroit, Alumani Landers is the founder of ALD Distribution (Always Live your Dreams) established in 2019 providing quality products.
Her inspiration and passion for business comes from her childhood watching her mother make everything from scratch without compromising quality and making ends meet with very little money. It was the care and passion her mom displayed that was impressed on her. Always being industrious, she made sure her children had what she could provide, for the holidays, right alongside her with minimal education.
That same love she learned made her “search out a thing,” especially when it comes to creativity and the passion for entrepreneurship. Today through ALD Distribution, Alumani has found that thing and a way to give back to her community.
"Reach Back and Give Back!" Detroit suffers with major issues that have been untouched for decades. A major city where African Americans lead the nation in hopelessness, poverty, unemployment, violent crimes, incarceration and recidivism. Our company will provide training, mentorship and create jobs for our community as well as returning citizens. It is our mission and vision to have our own continuous quality improvement manufacturing facilities, providing quality products that can instill pride and change the trajectory of a community for generations to come.
Part of our mission is to manufacturer our own products right here in the USA and be sustainable job creators. It is an honor to serve our community in hopes that we can affect change in the lives of individuals who have overcome life's struggles and encouraging others that with our help, they can too.
In Detroit, our community suffers with major issues that have plagued us for decades such as: poverty, unemployment, incarceration, recidivism, violent crimes, and the least amount of entrepreneurs.
Our company will provide high quality goods, services, and jobs to whomever is in need and gives back even more by teaching our employees empowerment and "Lifting as we climb."
